Makin' Green Beans

We wanted to move on from cereals and attempt big girl and boy food.  Mommy got everything ready on Sunday to make us some real, fresh baby food!  She got the green beans ready, and the avacado.  Then she got out the new food processor they got just for us...

after she cooked the green beans and mushed 'em up, and cut up the avacado, they were ready for the freezer. Mommy couldn't believe that whole big bag of green beans only made 3 trays of food. But now we have lots ready for dinners this week!

Okay Mommy, we're ready for the green beans! Don't we look so big in our high chairs?

Hungry Hungry Hippos

This has been a busy week for us!  We've been getting back on track from our vacation to Colorado (pictures to come soon), started getting ready for Mommy to go back to work- school starts very soon- and trying to enjoy the dwindling summer. 

Monday was our first official solid food.  We started out with rice cereal, kids stripped down to their diapers.  We put them in the bumpo chairs on the kitchen counter and they dug in.  We couldn't feed them fast enough!  When we didn't have the spoon in their mouths they were trying to suck on their hands.  Needless to say, we got cereal all over the place.  Good thing it was bath time.  Since that first day, we've gotten into a routine.  Graham really likes it, he can't get enough!  Kennedy isn't so sure, she still likes her bottle better. 

We also may have a couple of teethers on our hands.  They love to gnaw on anything they can get into their mouths... including their hands!
